Here, children aged 6 weeks to 6 years are immersed in a nurturing environment that blends heritage charm with innovative early learning. Our award-winning programs—including Indigo Wild excursion days, Forest School, and Indigo Wanderers—give little learners endless opportunities to explore, connect, and thrive. Exciting News – Free Kindy Approved at Indigo ELC woombye!
We’re thrilled to share that Indigo Early Learning Centre has been officially approved to offer the QLD Government’s Free Kindy Program. This means eligible families can now access 15 hours of high-quality kindergarten education each week, free of charge, with our experienced and passionate educators.
At Indigo, our Kindy program is designed to nurture each child’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play-based, nature-connected learning that prepares them for school and for life. We’re proud to be recognised as an approved Free Kindy provider and to make exceptional early education more accessible to families in our community.

A dedicated nursery space with its own yard, designed for our youngest learners. Children enjoy oversized sandpits, a water pump, real grass, and shady trees for full nature immersion. The nursery also includes a separate cot room, age-appropriate toilet facilities for those embarking on early toilet training, and an in-room kitchenette so educators remain present with children at all times.

Our oversized studio space actively encourages mixed-age learning (see benefits of mixed-age groups), allowing older and younger children to learn from one another in a rich, collaborative environment.

A huge yard filled with real trees, grassy play areas, established veggie gardens, a home for our chickens, and our very own sprinkler-play water park. Nature, movement, and discovery are part of every day.

Our centre includes a community library open to the broader community, and we are located right next door to the incredible Suncoast Christian College, offering opportunities for meaningful collaborations.

From 2026, Indigo Woombye will proudly launch our in-house Indigo Swim School, adding aquatic education to our already rich program.
