At Indigo, we know that water confidence and safety are life skills every child deserves. That’s why we created Indigo Swim—our very own certified and accredited swim school, proudly recognised as a First Lap Provider. Indigo Swim gives children the skills, confidence, and joy to feel at home in the water while supporting families to access government rebates for early swim education.
Led by our own trusted educators who are also qualified swim instructors, Indigo Swim is unique because children are taught by the same familiar faces who care for them each day. This creates a safe, comfortable learning environment where children feel supported as they develop vital swimming and water safety skills.
Children travel to and from their swimming lessons in our very own 12-seat private Indigo buses, which have been specially engineered and certified with 10 anchor points. This allows every child to travel in a top-of-the-line 5-point safety harness, ensuring the highest level of protection and comfort while on the road. Each bus is also fitted with CCTV-style cameras inside and out, enabling our team to monitor journeys in real time from our home-base services—giving families extra peace of mind.
At our Forresters Beach centre, the pool is located right next door, so children and educators simply walk over together for their lessons.
More than just lessons, Indigo Swim is about building resilience, physical development, and a sense of accomplishment. Classes are tailored to each child’s age and ability, from first splashes through to strong strokes, with a focus on fun, encouragement, and progress at every stage.
